Help For Users
Visit the UCR Print Style Guide page for information on how to use the UCR graphic identity system, colors and fonts.
A design workshop for UCR communications staff and print graphic designers will be held to familiarize users with the various guidelines and creative applications. A UCR Web Style Guide is being developed.
For technical help, call Creative Design Services at (951) 827-5187.
To ensure the consistency and effectiveness of our new campus identity system, please follow these guidelines:
- All new campus publications, signage and letterhead produced by colleges, academic departments and administrative units must carry and conform with the standards of the new UCR graphic identity system
- This applies to both campus-based and external graphic artists and printing vendors.
- The new UCR wordmark and monogram logo lock-ups shall be used exclusive — replacing all existing logos — on any new printed materials
To help the campus transition to the new identity system, the Office of Strategic Communications will provide offices, departments and centers up to one hour of free design consultation with Creative Design Services (951) 827-5187.
Exceptions
The following campus units are encouraged but not required to adopt the new identity standards:
- College-based and interdisciplinary academic Centers
- Student organizations
While not required comply with the new standards, this status may change based on further assessment.
Approved UC System stationary is available for those departments and units involved in systemwide business and communications activities.
See the UCR Print Style Guide page for more details.
